The Dolomites - a part of the Alps located in northern Italy - is a place I have wanted to visit for a very long time. It is one of those places you have seen on countless pictures from all seasons, and despite going during the summer vacation (expecting sunshine all day long) we did run into some quite severe weather. I went with my childhood friend Christian, and after renting a car in Milan we quickly drove to the mountains where we spent around a week sleeping in the car and hiking every day. Taking pictures in a place like this is quite difficult, because at times you feel like every shot has been taken already, but despite this in the back of my mind, I returned home with quite a lot of amazing photographs from one of the most amazing places in Europe, and maybe even the world.
